Hello Everyone, 
 
Summer is the time to plan a vacation, whether its going to 
the cottage, a resort at the beach or camping.  
We enjoy getaways to the Great Lakes for relaxing 
and spending time with family and friends. Let us know 
what you enjoy about summer in your state or elsewhere. We 
will share these fun travel trips with others in our 
newsletters. 
 
Moving on, I like to wear sterling jewelry during the 
summer season, but I keep it rather simple. I keep a short 
chocker style sterling necklace, adding a pendant or charm, 
but keep it light and airy looking. Add in your favorite 
sterling anklet and a cute toe ring. Keep your sterling 
earrings dangling geometric style for a fresh clean look 
and you are good to go. 
 
 
Newsletter Tidbit: Jewelry Clasps 
Clasps are various fasteners which close chains and some 
bracelets. Styles include a Lobster Claw so named as it 
resembles the claw of a lobster. Spring Ring, which is a 
classic type of closure used on most smaller chains. Toggle 
Clasp isa two piece lock system whereby a small loop on one 
end of a chain or bracelet accomodates a small bar which 
slips through the loop and remains locked. Box Clasp most 
often seen on fancy and eleborate silver bracelets like the 
Marcarsite bracelets.
