Summer is the time to plan a vacation, whether its going to the cottage, a resort at the beach or camping. We enjoy getaways to the Great Lakes for relaxing and spending time with family and friends. Moving on, I like to wear sterling jewelry during the summer season, but I keep it rather simple. I keep a short chocker style sterling necklace, adding a pendant or charm, but keep it light and airy looking. Add in your favorite sterling anklet and a cute toe ring. Keep your sterling earrings dangling geometric style for a fresh clean look and you are good to go.
Newsletter Tidbit: Jewelry Clasps Clasps are various fasteners which close chains and some bracelets. Styles include a Lobster Claw so named as it resembles the claw of a lobster. Spring Ring, which is a classic type of closure used on most smaller chains. Toggle Clasp isa two piece lock system whereby a small loop on one end of a chain or bracelet accomodates a small bar which slips through the loop and remains locked. Box Clasp most often seen on fancy and eleborate silver bracelets like the Marcarsite bracelets.
